This Privacy Policy explains how Clash Knight handles data when used on Reddit through Devvit.
Scope
This policy applies to data processed by Clash Knight in connection with gameplay, deck management, unit generation, and related subreddit experiences.
Data We Process
- Reddit account and context data provided by the Devvit platform, such as username and subreddit context.
- Gameplay data, including deck selections, match outcomes, progression state, and generated unit metadata.
- User-provided text prompts submitted for AI-assisted unit generation.
- Operational telemetry and error logs needed to maintain service quality and debug failures.
How We Use Data
- To run gameplay systems, matchmaking/session flow, and progression.
- To store deck and forged-unit state so features function across sessions.
- To generate playable units from user prompts.
- To operate moderator tools, including post creation and challenge/replay workflows.
- To prevent abuse, investigate issues, and improve reliability.
AI and External Processing
Clash Knight uses approved external LLM services for prompt-based unit generation. Prompts and required generation context may be sent to these services to return structured gameplay content.
Clash Knight does not use Reddit data to train, fine-tune, or improve third-party models.
User Actions and Reddit Posting
When Clash Knight posts/comments on behalf of a user, it does so only from explicit manual user actions. These actions are separate from core gameplay and are never triggered automatically.
Data Sharing
We do not sell user data.
Data may be shared only with:
- Reddit/Devvit infrastructure required to deliver app functionality.
- Approved service providers required for core features, such as AI generation.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for app functionality, safety, moderation, legal compliance, and legitimate operational purposes.
Where practical, data is deleted or de-identified after it is no longer needed.
User Rights and Deletions
We aim to honor deletion and removal expectations under Devvit Rules and Reddit policies. If Reddit content is deleted, related app-side content should be removed according to platform policy requirements.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and platform.
Children
Clash Knight is not intended for children under the minimum age required by Reddit policies and applicable law.
